Admissions to Ilsington Primary School are handled by Devon County Council admissions team. 

 There is a single point of entry system for children starting school. This means that  Devon offers admission to the Reception class  at the beginning of the September term following the child’s fourth birthday, in accordance with the School Admissions Policy .   However, parents have the right to delay their child starting school until the term after he or she turns five years old.
