Remembrance Service

Remembrance Service

On Wednesday we went across to St Michael’s Church for our Remembrance Service. Reverend David had an old kit bag, containing all the things the soldiers would have needed in WW1. We heard all about Frederick Honeywill, who lived in the village and died fighting in WW1 and then went outside to lay a wreath on the war grave of Alfred Point, who was an ambulance driver and died in a hospital in London.
